Steve is preaching a sermon on the resurrection for our former church in Iruma on Easter morning in Inariyama Park. Your prayers for that time and the response of those who visit, that they would be led deeper in their knowledge of Christ and respond to his love is appreciated.
Ben has been and come back from the Senior Trip to Thailand! The senior class of Christian Academy in Japan went off to Chang Rai, Thailand for work projects in local villages as part of ongoing outreach in that area. They stayed in a dorm type facility. While there they engaged in team building and leadership challenges, as well as taking a cross mountain trek, singing chamber music in a cave, playing with lots of fun kids at the places they were working and more.
Melissa meanwhile went on the 8th grade class Kyoto Trip, where they do a whirlwind tour in 2 days, seeing the deer in Nara and the major attractions of Kyoto. She had a fun time, and very little sleep. It was her first trip on a bullet train, with good enough weather to see Mt. Fuji as they went flowing past.
