We are very grateful and glad to report that all the funds needed for our Japan trip have been contributed! Thank you to all who gave extra gifts and for all who prayed for the need to be met. God is good!
Please pray for this mission trip, June 23rd to July 9th.
1) Please pray for good health and safety and strength for the long airplane trip.
2) Pray for our team consisting of 5 adults: Rochelle, Steve, Jeff, Erika, and Jordan. Ask the Lord to give us unity in Christ and to help us use our gifts and strengths for His glory.
3) Our goal is to make many new friends with whom we can share the love of Jesus. Pray God would lead us to people who are open to spending time with us..
4) Pray that many new people would join our event at the “Delta Cross” church plant on June 28th.
5) We also expect to visit students on campuses in West Tokyo. Some professors will invite us to their English classes where we can make friends.
6) We also are asking the Lord to bless our visits with friends, co-workers, and disciples from years ago. Pray we can bring encouragement from God’s Word to them.

7) Japanese are trained through their culture to pursue perfection, which is a difficult standard to live up to. Pray that the grace-filled truth of the gospel would flourish across the country, that they may know the One who loves and accepts them.
8) Manga and anime (cartoons and animated films) are popular art forms in Japan. We hope to connect with people through Christian-themed manga and anime. Pray for good responses and open conversations.
9) Pray for the Japanese people that their hearts would turn to Jesus and for revival and blessing for the Japanese believers (1% of the population).
We know that we are dependent on the Lord to use us and guide us. We so appreciate your labor of love in prayer for the Japanese with us!
