Our son Andy was in Japan this summer for 6 weeks on a mission trip and to visit friends. His trip began with 2 weeks in an English Bible Camp in Nagano (central Japan mountain area). The church was sponsored by his southern California Japanese church, with a hosting church in Nagano. Andy was the main translator for the group and enjoyed working with the kids.
Afterwards he got to spend time with his friends from his high school in Japan who were back on summer break from their colleges in the US. He also went to a more southern town to visit the family of one of his Japanese friends. He tells us that he totally enjoyed all of his time in Japan. We really wont be surprised if God leads him back before any of the rest of us! He still has 2 years of Physics courses at Cal Poly Pomona to graduate.
