We want to express our thanks to the Lord for you, as you walk by faith and trust Him with us, to see this ministry of sending new laborers grow.
I just took a look back at the newsletters we’ve sent out this past year. God has been at work in all kinds of places through those He is sending into His harvest with Cru and with others partnering with Cru. We’re so thankful for them! We’re thankful for your prayers that God would use us, and that He would raise up the next generation of missionaries.
A quick story: recently Dr. Steve Douglass, Cru’s president, and leaders of our Jesus Film Project were invited to participate in a major conference of Anglican bishops in Africa. Many of these leaders had been influenced by Cru in their younger days! And now hundreds of these bishops have been delighted to partner with Cru, receiving sets of solar powered Jesus Film display units that are being used by their church members to show the Jesus Film across the continent. Many of those units are being used to share the gospel with 30,000+ each, and many thousands are coming to faith in Jesus. God is faithful and we thank Him so much for using some specially talented staff to create tools like this and to develop a partnership like this!
We are thankful for the hundreds of new staff who have joined Cru in the past year.
We are thankful for the Campus Ministry taking steps of faith to launch movements on over 1000 new campuses worldwide last year!
We are thankful for the progress of new staff raising their support as Rochelle has coached them this past year.
We are thankful for freedom to engage young people on the local middle and high schools, and for new opportunities developed recently to engage young believers in a gap year ministry to other high schoolers.
We’re thankful for the wonderful privilege of serving those who are stepping into the mission field. We never thought that we would be in Florida when we were younger, but now we have served at Cru’s headquarters for over 11 years!
