As we shared in our last letter, Winter Conferences have a big impact in the hearts of students. There were Winter Conferences in Indianapolis, Dallas, Washington D.C., Southern California, Minneapolis, Raleigh, New Haven, Denver, Atlanta, Pittsburgh and Orlando, attended by nearly 7000 students. The speakers and programs focused on helping students grow closer to Jesus and be obedient to His leading in their lives.  Every student is challenged to take his or her next step of faith in making an impact for God\u2019s Kingdom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students were trained in how to share the good news of Christ at each conference. They were sent out to practice what they had learned by initiating spiritual conversations, and hundreds of people trusted in Jesus as a result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What will all these students do next?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Spirit has instilled joy in my heart at being able to go out and share the gospel, something I’ve never really experienced before. I’m excited to go back and share the gospel with others on my campus.\u201d  -Ethan <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many students are being obedient to Jesus by volunteering to go on a mission trip. Over spring break, Cru is partnering with Filter of Hope to help students take that next step of faith, As you may remember, we went to the Dominican Republic last summer with Filter of Hope, and so we\u2019re excited for these trips! Cru campus ministries are sending out students on 55 trips to bring water filters and the Good News of Jesus to people who need this life-giving water and message. These students are going to 12 different locations in Central and South America, including Cuba, Guatemala, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and El Salvador, just to name a few.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides these trips with Filter of Hope, Cru is also sending out students to the areas of North Carolina that were affected by Hurricane Helene. They will partner with local Cru staff and volunteers there during spring break and during the summer helping with very practical needs and sharing the love of Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are also looking forward to seeing God call many students to participate in our Summer Mission trips. 123 trips are being planned in many international locations as well as beach and city locations in the United States.
