They will help tell the story of how Jesus is impacting people around the world with our donors and partners.<br>\nBut before they could be hired our team had to engage with LinkedIn to help present Cru and these opportunities. Also on the Cru.org website and in 2 local jobs boards, we post these openings. Indeed.com picks them up and promotes them nationally. So many people hear about our openings on LinkedIn or on Indeed. They then apply through our online application in Oracle\u2019s PeopleSoft HR Recruiting solution. Connie (above in pink) reviews applications before sending them on to the hiring managers. Steve works with and gives leadership to how all these systems work together to bring people onboard with Cru.<br>\nRaeli and Jeannette, the other 2 staff pictured above, were hired as a result<br>\nThey will be sharing stories like this one:<br>\n\u201cA film team had gone into a village in West Asia \u2014 an area where it was difficult to share the gospel. Film teams and evangelists who work there often face stiff opposition and resistance.<br>\nAs they were setting up the projection equipment, people began arriving and asking, \u201cWhere is the man? Where is the one who calls Himself Isa? We have come to meet Him.\u201d (Isa is the great prophet mentioned in their religious book.)<br>\nThe film team tried to explain, \u201cHe is not (physically) here. But He is in the movie we are about to show you. You are at the right place!\u201d<br>\nOne of the villagers was insistent, saying, \u201cBut He appeared to us last night. My niece was lame, and Isa healed her.\u201d The man turned and pointed, \u201cThere she is. She (walked) with me.\u201d<br>\n\u201cAnd this is my uncle. He was deaf, and Isa touched him. Now my uncle can hear!\u201d<br>\n\u201cIsa told us, \u2018Come here tonight because here you will meet Me.\u2019 So we want to meet Him!\u201d<br>\nRealizing that something wondrous had happened, the team thoughtfully replied, \u201cYes, you are about to meet Him. Please sit down and watch.\u201d<br>\nThey started the projector. The scene where John was baptizing his disciples in the Jordan River came on the screen. A man approaches John walking through the crowd. You only see his back, then his feet moving through the water.<br>\nThe next scene reveals His face. It\u2019s Jesus. Instantly, the people jumped up and started screaming and shouting, \u201cThat\u2019s Him! That\u2019s Him! That\u2019s the man who came to our village last night!\u201d<br>\nThey could hardly contain themselves with excitement. They were meeting the healer who had come to them where they lived. The once-deaf man heard Jesus speak the Word of God in his language. The lame niece watched Him heal others, just as He had healed her.<br>\nThey watched as Jesus sacrificed everything, including His life, and then rose again so they might be forgiven and made new. And as they heard the Word, they met Him in their hearts.\u201d<br>\nIt is so amazing that we get to be part of the great work that God is doing around the world through the Jesus Film and the Cru ministries.  As we see God use our work to raise up laborers, some who go and some who serve and tell the stories, we rejoice that Jesus is made known and lives are being changed.
