I wanted to let you know what happened last year through Cru\u2019s online outreach efforts to connect students with the gospel via a Cru website, everystudent.com. This is a great resource of articles that help people process many life questions they face, and I enjoy sharing them via Facebook and other social media. I\u2019d encourage you to do so too!
\nOne of our staff members, Marilyn Adamson shares: \u201cGod is bringing people from all over the world to EveryStudent.com.
\nMany people every day share how their life has been changed by God. Comments such as: “A couple of years ago I started having problems with anxiety and depression. I was not doing very well emotionally. About a year ago I started reading the Bible, found your website and asked Jesus to come into my life. It has changed my life, maybe even saved my life. I thank God everyday for helping me.”
\nIn just one short month, here’s who came to the English website:
\n 425 people from Iran 154 people from Vietnam
\n 537 people from Syria 29,537 people from Bangladesh
\n 1,156 people from China 126 from Afghanistan
\n 10,911 from United Kingdom 5,913 from Australia
\n 106,815 from Nigeria 24,380 from India
\n 997 from Sri Lanka 853 from Indonesia
\n 394 from Egypt and people from almost every country!
\nNow imagine the number of people who came to the 44 other language versions of EveryStudent.com\u2026.in Arabic, Turkish, Spanish, French, etc.
\nIt\u2019s pretty exciting to think that God has given us a way to bring the gospel to people all over the earth. You’ll notice that many of those countries are communist or primarily Muslim. God is drawing people to hear that he loves them and is offering them a relationship with himself!
\nRev 14:6,7 says, “Then I saw another angel flying directly overhead, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people. And he said with a loud voice, \u201cFear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.\u201d” Amen!!
\nIn one month last year\u2026over 3 million people came to our EveryStudent sites in various languages, and all together 65,000 people told us they asked Jesus into their lives while on the site. That’s 2,300 people each day!
\nGod changes lives. When someone asks Jesus to come into his life, He comes in! And God begins to bring freedom, peace, hope, and love as they get to know him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We hope you\u2019ve been encouraged by these stories of how God is at work. It is such a privilege for us to serve this growing movement of God by helping get workers into the harvest around the world. God is good!
