As mentioned in our newsletters, we are planning to change the location where we serve with Campus Crusade for Christ from Tokyo, to the Orlando Headquarters of CCC.  The primary reason for this relocation is to be US-based while we care for elderly parents and more access to our college-aged kids.  It is entirely possible that in a few years we would return to Japan with CCC.  We will continue to be CCC missionaries and need the full support of everyone currently on our team in gifts and prayer!  You are urgently needed as our partners in God’s work.

The first year in Orlando we are considering our “furlough” year, having been full time in Japan for the last 6 years (with a couple short summer visits home in ’03 and ’05).  So we are joining the Lark Hart STINT program at the headquarters.  The STINT program is designed to be a WIN-WIN situation for missionaries returning to the states and the CCC global organization.  The name, Lake Hart, refers to the location in the address of CCC’s headquarters, which is situated very close to that lake, and fairly close to the Orlando airport.  STINT workers work at the headquarters in some vital capacity, and have scheduled time to interact with the top leaders of the ministry about where CCC is going and where it is active now.  Mentors or personal coaches are provided to help the STINT workers grow personally.  So we are looking forward to a season of growth personally and spiritually.

We are currently discussing with the CCC leadership about what role we will serve in at the headquarters, but we have not lost our heart and vision for Japan, and expect to continue to be involved in ministry that enables us to help reach Japanese for Christ and send them to reach others throughout the world!  You are our special partners to do that!  Thanks so much.
